  • I’m a beginner. Is this right for me?
    Absolutely! My programs cater to all fitness levels, from beginner to advanced. I’ll teach you proper form, progression strategies, and how to build confidence in training—no matter where you’re starting from.
  • Is online coaching as effective as in-person training?
    Yes! Online coaching provides custom training plans, meal guidance, and full support—without needing to meet in person. You’ll get weekly check-ins, accountability, and structured progress tracking to keep you on track.
  • I’ve tried everything but still struggle to lose weight. How is this different?
    Unlike fad diets, my approach focuses on: - Sustainable nutrition (not crash diets) - Strength training & movement (not just cardio) - A structured plan tailored to your unique needs - Ongoing support & accountability
  • Do I need to follow a strict diet to see results?
    No! My coaching focuses on sustainable nutrition, not extreme diets. You’ll learn how to eat real food, enjoy meals, and still achieve fat loss and muscle gain—without giving up everything you love.
  • How long before I see results?
    Most clients notice changes within a few weeks, with 6-12 weeks bringing visible fat loss and strength improvements. Results depend on consistency and effort, but I’ll guide you every step of the way.
  • How do the in person sessions work?
    Sessions run on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. When we agree to work together, you will receive access to your workout program which consists of... 1 upper body workout 1 lower body workout 1 full body workout 1 conditioning/sweat workout These are the workouts you will follow during your coaching session and can also be completed in your own time, should you not be able to make the scheduled coaching session.
  • What experience do I need?
    No experience is needed. My coaching will meet you exactly where you are currently at and will help you progress at a rate that is right for you.
  • How many people are in each session?
    The maximum capacity for each session is 4 people. This is to provide you with the best experience and coaching you require.
  • Where are the in person sessions held?
    Your in person sessions will be delivered at... Real Fitt 247 1150 Old Port Rd Royal Park SA 5014 The facility provides ample car parking as well as showers you can use after sessions. You can also gain access to 24/7 use of the facility for a one off $50 fee.
  • Who is it for?
    My in person coaching service is for anyone local to Adelaide, who is struggling to build a consistent workout routine and needs face to face help and accountability to create one.
  • Can I try first to see if it's for me?
    Absolutely! Your first session is FREE. To claim this, please complete an application form or book a call via the website.
  • When does the program start?
    Your in person coaching plan can be started at anytime. Providing we have agreed to work together, you will be invited to purchase your plan. Your plan will then be ready for you within 72 hours, so that we can get to work.
  • How long can I sign up for?
    The minimum length of time you can sign up for is a 6 week block. However, if you are looking to make a lasting change, a 3 month commitment is advised.
  • Will I be offered support out of sessions?
    Yes! As well as the in person sessions, you will also be given access to my online coaching service. With this, you will benefit from daily and weekly check ins (with feedback), as well as being able to join our monthly group support call where we discuss your progress, struggles and set upcoming goals.
  • Who is it for?
    The 6 week fat loss accelerator program is for anyone who needs support with their fat loss journey and requires some support, a plan of action and the accountability in order to achieve their goals.
  • When does the program start?
    The next Fat Loss Accelerator program commences on 3rd February 2025 and will run for a total of 6 weeks.
  • Do I need a Facebook account?
    No, you do not need a Facebook account to take part in the program. The coaching you will receive, as well as the peer support group are both on my private app that you will gain access to.
  • Do I need to live in the same country?
    The beauty of online coaching is that we can work together no matter where you are based in the world.
  • Will I be given a diet plan to follow?
    No, you will not receive a diet plan to follow. I am firmly against giving my clients diet plans to stick to. ​ Instead I will strive to teach you the skills and targets to manage your own nutrition. From past experience, I have found this a much more sustainable way for my clients to live.
  • How often can I check in for support?
    Each week you will receive your progress check in form via the app. This is your chance to hold yourself accountable and share any struggles or wins from your week. You'll also be able to use the peer support group, where you can ask questions and get support from James and the rest of the community.
  • What do I get with the training plan?
    You will get a 6 week progressive training plan to follow which can be done at home or in the gym. To follow along at home you would require access to either Dumbbells or Kettlebells. The training plan is trackable via an easy to use app and will involve 3 resistance based workouts per week, with an optional conditioning workout.
  • What is online coaching
    Online coaching is a personalised approach to improving your health and fitness. With 1-1 access to your own coach, you'll be fully supported on your journey when it comes to training, nutrition guidance and lifestyle & habit implementation. It is so much more than just an hour in the gym having someone counting your reps.
  • Is there a minimum term?
    The minimum term for personalised coaching is 3 months. This is to give you enough time to implement the systems required to achieve your goals and embed them as part of your lifestyle. At the end of the 3 months, there will be an opportunity to continue with the coaching should you desire.
  • Do I need to live in the same country?
    The beauty of online coaching is that we can work together no matter where you are based in the world.
  • How often can I check in for support?
    Each week you will receive your personalised check in form via the app. This is your chance to update James on your progress and any struggles you may have. You'll also have access to James on a daily basis should you need any additional support or questions answering.
  • When does the program start?
